Based on 147 reviews

Chang'an Noodle Chatswood is widely recognized for its generous portion sizes and authentic hand-pulled noodles, praised for their chewy texture and satisfying toppings. The restaurant is noted for its efficient and friendly service, creating a welcoming atmosphere despite occasional language barriers that add to its genuine charm. Popular dishes such as spicy dry mix noodles and chilli oil noodles receive frequent mentions for their flavorful profiles, though some reviewers suggest the spice level could be heightened. The menu’s variety, including standout items like the Chinese hamburger and fried dumplings, is appreciated, with some suggesting the addition of more side options. Overall, patrons value the balance of quality, quantity, and authenticity within a casual dining setting.

One of the yummiest noodle place in Sydney. Service is efficient, and noodle and its topping really hit the spot. Quantity is very generous. Definitely will come back try other noodle dishes.

If you’re craving chewy noodles, this is the place to go. It wasnt clear with google, but it was actually located just in district dining. The spicy dry mix noodle was delicious. Generous amount of toppings and super thick hand pull noodles, with a spicy sauce. The beef and tomato soup noodle was not spicy at all, soup was a bit bland but they were generous with the beef. Noodle was chewy too.Cold dish seaweed was good, flavourful and bitey.

My dish was good.Parking - westfields. FreeCustomer service - good and friendly. Boss is goodToilets - very close, right next to ippudoAtmosphere - goodImprovements - maybe adding dumplings to their menuWhat we ordered:1. Oil chilli noodles: just the right amount for me. This chilli lingers but does not bring pain. If you want to ask for more, they will cater2. Beef noodles: noodles a bit too soft texture wise, nearly mushy?3. Hamburg: do not recommend. Lacks in flavour. The oil chilli noodles are really good. Quantity, quality and spiciness were just right and the price is good too. If I were to come back, I would only get the oil chilli again

Great place for a break away from main stream Chinese food. The Chilli Oil Noodle is served in a massive bowl and wouldn’t be a bad idea if you wanted to order one to share as it’s quite a lot, taste wise, it’s okay. My highlight was the fried dumplings. Staff don’t really speak English but it wasn’t a problem, if anything, it added to the authenticity. I enjoyed my meal here.

I saw how many reviews were talking about the chilli oil noodles so I got them and they were super good. They were tasty, really chewy, but could definitely be much more spicy. The Chinese hamburger(肉夹馍) was DELICIOUS. The bun was stuffed with juicy tender pork. All the serving sizes were generous.

Reminded me of China, everything tasted amazing. The quality of food and portions was perfect. We had the Pork intestines soup noodles and it was so flavourful, the intestines were braised perfectly. The Changan cold noodle combo with the Chinese hamburger- which is perfectly balanced between vegetables and meat.
